Experimental Series No. 1 The Moscatel Experiment After twelve years of rum making, Mr. Miguel Riascos had the ingenious idea of filling sixteen rum barrels with his favorite wine to see what could happen. Everything was forgotten. Twelve years later, while his son Miguel Riascos Jr. was carrying out a disciplined inventory, he came across the barrels and discovered that they contained a spectacular wine containing fine notes of walnut, plum and leather. Upon this discovery, he emptied the barrels, filled them with LA HECHICERA rum and waited several months to obtain this exquisite result. A forgotten experiment, providentially remembered.
